Find Life Again...
Generally most items from garage clearances end up finding life again with someone else. We frequently donate items to schools, colleges, adult education centers and self-help groups who need equipment or tools for further education, support and development. Sending re-usable items to landfill sites is the absolute “last option” for Steven & Clair at Sycamore Cleaning.

We Hate Waste...
But We Love Re-Cycling!
Any items that are not accepted or wanted by charities or schools are then placed in to a local auction for someone else to enjoy and find life again. Any items “not sold” at auction are then considered for waste. Even now the waste is responsibly sorted into piles ready to be sent to the local recycling center. We pride ourselves in re-cycling up to 90% of waste.

The True Cost Of Waste
Disposing of waste is a big problem and it is becoming more expensive to do so. As a business we are charged £160 per 1 tonne of rubbish by trade waste centers. This does not include our labor. As a guide, one tonne of rubbish is roughly 4-6 washing machines in weight. With the above being mentioned we understand that clearing your garage may seem like a expensive task. However, we may find items of re-sale value, which can be deducted from the Garage Clearance quote. This saves our customers money, stops landfill and it saves the planet by re-cycling. A win, win in our books!

- The UK Recycled Just 26.4 Million Tonnes Of Waste In 2018
- Most Waste Produced Is Mineral Waste Such As Sand/Dirt
Beware of Fly Tippers.
It Could Cost You!
Getting rid of your waste, is your responsibility! Unfortunately with the rising costs of waste disposal more fly-tipping is happening now, than ever before. The chances are you have a country lane, car park or garage block that has turned into the local dump? When employing any waste or clearance services you should always check for a ``Trade Waste License`` and double check it on the day. Using an unlicensed carrier could land you a fine, should they dump your personal waste around the corner! Always be cautious when using cheap services via Gumtree or Facebook!
